Age – by Oluwaseyi Samuel
Can a man die in his youth?
And the world would be at peace,
What if his goal was to grow a beard,
His chin filled with the harvest,
Isn’t that a fulfilling life,
Your screams do not wake the dead,
But deafen the living,
No man is too young to die.
Can a man die in peace?
No tears but laughter for his journey,
His skin had lost its color,
Senses became dull,
A hundred years he lived,
Yet you cry and hope,
Hope for a longer life,
Do not see death as evil,
Let a fulfilled man die in peace,
A man is only young,
When there is no glory to his name.
